Refund policy

 
At Ethnic Finery, we believe in celebrating individuality - this is why all our products are custom-made for every customer with lots of love and care. As a company policy, we do not provide refunds or returns on any product sold, barring cases of damage or defects. On the off chance you experience any size or fitting issues, we maintain enough extra margins on both sides of the garment which can be used to loosen up or alter the dress accordingly.

  • If you receive a damaged/defective product: We want to offer you only the best and every order you place physically undergoes strict quality checks to ensure you receive accurate measurements and damage free products. However, if the product incurs a genuine manufacturing defect, your order is eligible for a replacement.
  • In order to meet our replacement policy, notify us of the damage/defect within 24 hours of the product being delivered, along with clear images and an unpacking video of the defect visible.
  • Once approved, please ship the product back to us by India Post (speed post) and share the receipt with us on Instagram/WhatsApp. We shall issue a full refund of the shipping charges incurred as per the receipt. Kindly ensure you ship the garment back to us within 48-72 hours of the delivery.
  • It may take up to 5-7 business days for the credit to reflect in the customer account

Once we receive the package, we shall send out the replacement at the earliest possible timeline. The forward charges of the return replacement will be borne at our end.


Note: Misprints and colour differences from website images are not considered damaged products. A defining feature of handcrafted, hand dyed and block printed craftsmanship is slight irregularities in motifs, texture, and colour since these are inherent properties. Additionally, none of our products are mass manufactured but instead made in batches. Thus, slight variation in colour, shade, and motif in each batch produced is natural due to the human involvement in the process. All our photos are clicked in natural light to closely represent the true colour of the actual fabric and the product displayed on the website. However, there are times when the camera lens cannot match the perspective of an eye and thus slight colour variation is unavoidable in the product. This is owing to a difference in screen resolution, brightness, and variation in devices. Some products and colours also tend to look slightly brighter in photos as the camera always highlights certain shades more.


Wash Care Instructions:

      • We recommend hand washing our garments separately in cold water, at least in the initial two washes since these are all naturally dyed handwoven fabrics and hence there may be a slight chance of the colour bleeding
      • Do not soak or wash along with other products
      • Dry inside out, away from direct sunlight
      • Dry clean is ideal to maintain longevity of the garment
